There has been quite a few HD2 Map Sync posts over the past couple of days, however I would like to class this post as a critical update. This new version of HD2 Map Sync solves some issues a variety of users where receiving when try to update the application from the update system.

Trying to check for updates on any version older than 1.2.0.0, may result in an error.

This update is not available through HD2 Map Sync so I strongly suggest you download the update from HERE.

Quick update for HD2 Map Sync, added a few new features as well as improovements and fixes as usual.

Quick note of what has changed:
A Maps changelog is now also accessible by double clicking a map in the within the update list.
The Maplist View dialog has been spruced up a little bit, including an added save function.
Icons have been added to all menu items.
Added subtle gradient effect to all HD2 Map Sync dialogs.

All this as well as the usual code clean ups and improved application performance.

The update is available via your HD2 Map Sync if you are using version 1.1.0.0, alternatively you can download the latest version of HD2 Map Sync as always, HERE.

This morning I'm releasing a new version of HD2 Map Sync. This new version has a few new features and fixtures. The way it also gathers information on updates has also changed. Here is a list of the new features and fixtures:

Added Windows 7 Progress to taskbar.
Added "Select All" and "Copy" buttons to the Maplist View window.
Vastly improved performance when checking for updates.
Download protocol re-designed, improved performance with less cpu usage.
Set a minimum size for the main window.
Fixed some interface stuttering when resizing the window.
Fixed a bug some users experienced when trying to view the maplist.

A couple of notes here:
This version of HD2 Map Sync has to be downloaded via our website, the previous versions will not recognise a new version and ask you to update the application.
This new version of HD2 Map Sync will continue to work as it did with your previous version, all your local map versions are saved and will be picked up on.
