Ranking System

Our ranking system is very simple and motivational. To work up the ranks you have to
go through a pre selected map with a pre selected difficulty and set of lives and must be
under the watch of a GS officer.
E = Easy Difficulty
N = Normal Difficulty
H = Hard Difficulty
VH = Very Hard Difficulty
N/A Not Aplicable

When a player has moved up a rank they then have a delay of 2 weeks before the next rank
can be trialed for.

Names

As a member in The Golden Squad we must use the tag of “GS” infront of our game name. After the “GS” abreviation a hyphen should be placed ( - ), like this: GS- .

If you are a squad leader then you must put the first letter of your squad name after the hyphen. For example, the leader of Alpha Squad's should look like this: GS-A, where as the leader of Bravo Squad's should look like this: GS-B.

Now for the members rank. Your rank will come after the tag and the rank should be writen in full with no abreviations. For example if you were of the rank Private, then your name should look like this: GS-Private (No spaces between the hyphen and rank).

After the rank our in game name is placed. There must be a space between your rank and your name.

So once finished your name should look for example something like this: GS-Private Jack.
If you have trouble fitting your name in within the game there is a way around it.
First locate your way to your H&D 2 directory (by default C:\Program Files\Illusion Softworks\Hidden & Dangerous 2) Once there find a folder called “PlayersProfiles” and open it. Inside will be your profile folder which will be named as your in game name is. ALl you have to do is rename that folder and restart H&D 2 and its done. A quick and easy way to fit long names in the game.
